Free site rules
Free sites are Benchlight drafts published at an address on benchlight.page. They stay free while you follow these rules.
What you get
One free site per account, up to 10 MB. Free sites are static pages, without forms, logins or checkout.
The link at the bottom
Every page shows a small “Made with Benchlight” link. Don’t hide or remove it. It goes away when you move the site to your own domain on a hosting plan.
Not allowed
- Scams, or asking visitors for passwords, card numbers or bank details
- Pretending to be another business, person or brand
- Harmful code, or sending visitors to harmful sites
- Spam, including pages made only to rank in search results
- Content you don’t have the right to publish
- Sexual content, hate, harassment, or anything illegal
- Connecting to crypto wallets
What we do
We check every site when it’s published, and new sites are hidden from search engines for their first week. This gives our checks and abuse reports time to catch spam and abuse before search engines see it, helping protect other benchlight.page sites. We take down sites that break these rules, sometimes without warning, and may close the account. If we take your site down, we’ll email you, and you can reply to ask us to look again. Free sites have no uptime guarantee.
